Doug and Kitty,
Doug, I know you're out of the house right now, and Kitty, I know you just got back. But I need your help. Not only that, I need your help for an engineering project, so that should tell you exactly how important this is. Matter of life and death important.
The attached file is the project parameters. All I can say right now is that it's related directly to why the medlab's quarantined, and why I'll be practically living in the mech lab until completion. This is going to need an entirely new programming language constructed, and what's more, an entire new CONCEPT of a programming language. It's going to need to learn, to be adaptive - not true Artificial Intelligence, but bionics - a computer system that'll mimic the natural neural structure of the human body.
Technically, it's been done before - I've done it before. But my systems won't work here, and I honestly don't have enough programming know-how to do this in the time alloted with a zero percent margin of error.
You two do.
The file is attached - Doug, you're cleared for the details enclosed. Kitty, I've gotten permission to release details to you if you open the file, I'm assuming you're aware of all the necessary non-disclosure and security stuff. One of the other important things is that this software you'll be working on for the skeleton IS patented intellectual property - if you have ethical objections to ripping it apart and making it better, don't open it.
Yeah, I know, I don't ask for many favors, but when I do they're big ones. A lot of people will be owing all involved a huge helping of kudos and gratitude when we succeed.
Primary point of contact will be me, secondary will be the medlab doctor on duty.
Thanks in advance.
JHF
