I got a call from Alex today. It turns out that not only is Lorna not staying with her cousin, but she's been telling her parents that she's with Alex in Hawaii. We don't have any idea where she is right at this moment. I'd like to change that as soon as possible.
I've just been closeted with Lee for the better part of an hour. We checked the system for any activity that could be traced to Lorna, since the journals allow access from outside so long as you've got the right set-up, which she does. No activity using her accesses since she left the mansion. We left them open, but flagged to alert us if they're used and with new limitations. We reviewed the internal systems as well, even though they aren't linked to the outside - we figured better safe than sorry, and there's no sign of any kind of intrusion.
I don't want to jump to the worst possible conclusion here, but Lee and I both agreed to implement the protocol for this sort of situation. All of the team's passwords have been changed as a matter of procedure, and Lee's set internal and external security on a higher alert level.
So. The question is, where do we go from here? Charles is going to do what he can with Cerebro, of course. But wherever she is, she's been gone for a month and we don't have very much to go on. The trail's going to be awfully cold.
