So there's another milestone sort of day we kind of completely missed (by the way, there will be celebrations of your birthday when there is time again. You're not getting out of it that easy. Particularly not after the cane crack). It doesn't feel at all like it's only been six months. Maybe simply because being here feels natural and normal, so why would I count the days?

Time flies when you're having fun, so I can presume that, this month and all the other trauma aside...?

It doesn't seem like it's been six months, but in a way, it doesn't seem like it could only have been six months. That ought to be more contradictory than it is.

About the other anniversary... I wish I'd remembered. We could have done something - the team, I mean.

It maybe ought to be more contradictory than it is, but I think I know what you mean. And you still could do something, you know. It's hard, though, with this month being as stressful as it has been. But what would you do?

It just got me thinking. I wish you'd been there, and yet I'm so glad you weren't. Did I ever tell you that?

I think it's really hard to find the right way to, well, to deal with it all. How do you commemorate something like that? How do I recognize the day I came back? What's right? I don't think I know.
