Right, so there's fairy tales from you and smug grinning from Moira, and you're both sounding like Frenchie and Doug, so I'm going to make the obvious conclusion and say about bloody time.
*grins* Did you two leave the room intact? *flees*

Date: 2004-03-22 01:47 pm (UTC)Strangest thing is that I'm not reacting to her anymore, in that 'touch me and I'll take your hand off at the wrist' sort of way. Not that I'm complaining, but it's just... odd. I've always been a lot easier around Moira than I am with most people, but even with her, I was still fighting that impulse more often than not. It's the link, I imagine. Just wasn't expecting that.
I'm trying very hard not to have those morning-after sort of thoughts. Never thought I'd say I was glad that my dead friends were back, but at least they're a distraction.
Hope you had a good weekend? I imagine it was something of a reminder of everything you've got waiting for you after you're finished this crash-course of yours. Good and bad... and incentive, I hope. What you said about your spells in your last email's kind of stuck with me. I'm going to prove myself the movie geek I am, mangle a quotation, and remind you that you have to know the path to walk the path. One of those pesky first steps and all...
Glad to know that you feel like you can talk to me. I'll do my best not to be the stereotypical adult who comes bearing platitudes. I just hope that once you get back, you won't feel like you have to stop because of the sudden lack of distance. We could always keep emailing and just avoid each other in the halls...? Yeah, I am in far too good a mood today... my sense of humor is poking its head up and oohing and aahing. It's forgotten the feel of sunlight, you see.

Date: 2004-03-23 08:19 pm (UTC)The weekend was great. I got the chance to start patching things up with Angelo, which was good. I fucked things up with him... before, and of all the things I done, that was the one that was bothering me the most. Coming back ain't going to be easy, but it helps, knowing I've got friends who have seen me at me worst and still are talking to me afterwards. After enough grovelling. *grins*
Rom's still making worried noises at me about going back, but she's stopped saying over my dead body, so there's hope. And there was a letter for her from the States this morning, from a university in New York, so she's making some kind of plan that allows for me being there.
I'm bringing back some books for you that Homily recomended. They might be a bit airy fairy for you - Homily's definitely a hippy throwback - but once you get past the New Age shite there's a bit you might find useful, about talking to your ghosts without getting lost. I know you got the doc working on it, and she knows a lot more then me about a whole lot of things, but I'd like to help in me own unscientific way, if you want me to.
Your head seems a bit crowded lately, so I'll keep the serious shite at that, and wish you happies with the doc.
