... and I'm letting it. Yeah, that's my excuse for not calling today. The amazing thing is that I forget every year how much fun the start-of-term rush isn't.
Things have been fairly quiet around here this week. I've been trying to take some of Ororo's share of the school work, since she's been picking up my slack with the team for half the summer. Only fair. Plus it's good brain-numbing work.
Um. The kitten's grown visibly in the last week? Hah, this is why I didn't call. Nothing to say.
Although I did get a postcard from Jean on Friday.
Anyway. I am alive. Think I might wait an hour or two and go out on the bike. May as well - not much point in sitting around.

You think your rush is bad? I had class.
Okay so I would prefer the class to the mountains of homework that places produces. And...hey! Aren't you supposed to still be recovering? Massive amounts of paperwork can not be good for you! take care of yourself bro, don't make me come back there... And if Ororo won't give it to you, she has a reason. A good one that I agree with. Smart woman.
I'm glad to here about the kitten. Crush is almost full size now and drags poor Lili around, but she doesn't mine. They both love it here. Lili is infact in my lap as I'm typing. She says hello, at least that is what I will take her swiping at hand for.
Glad to know your alive. I do worry in your line of work.
Take care bro,

It might develop sentience and come after you. But really, it's the same-old, same-old. Scheduling classes and checking syllabi and ordering supplies and updating records. It'll all get done in time.
And Ororo's letting me do what I want. Self-preservation - she's had a lot to do with the team lately.
Don't worry, by the way. Not much point to it these days.
