Packages delivered
Oct. 16th, 2006 12:25 pmScott, Ororo, Cain, and Sam will find a small wrapped package by their doors this afternoon. Identical ones will also be delivered to Wanda at the Snow Valley center, and mailed off to the last forwarding addresses for Jean, Kylun, and Alison.
Inside each package is a clock; a single block of transparent lucite with digital numbers inside, counting not the time - but advancing incrementally each second. Some quick math will deduce that the count-up started at 1:32pm, October 16th, 2005.
With each clock is a note from Forge, handwritten:

It's very hard to measure freedom, or to quantify gratitude. But I felt the need to try and do both. It's not said enough for all you do, but thank you. For every second of freedom I have had this past year, thank you.
