Subject: Want to help save a few million lives?
Forge,
I would prefer not to ask, but there is quite literally no-one else I can hit up for help on this one. Yeah, yet another one of those situations.
I need your help, and it's of moderate importance that as few people as possible at Xavier's find out what's going on, because if this goes wrong, I want Charlie and his connections in the government to be able to deny all knowledge with complete truth.
Accordingly, I don't propose to tell you any more than I absolutely have to, either. I will tell you everything if you insist, but my best judgement is that it would be safer all round if I don't. Your call.
The situation is this: a mutant psion has come to my attention whose power levels are off every damn chart thus far conceived. The closest approximation to him in powers type that I know of is Jono Starsmore, but even that's like comparing a candle with an H-bomb.
We need a means to contain and filter the input this man recieves from his powers, in order that we can rescue him from a bad situation. If we don't out best guess is that he will, through no fault of his own, shortly go boom, and take with him some ten to fifteen million people.
We've got some preliminary notes based on how this man's powers might work, and some ideas toward containing it, but we believe that time is a critical factor here, which means we need your gifts.
If I send you what we've got so far, can you help?

We've got a job on, and it's a motherfucker. We're about to go break into a secret chinese military research station.
Before you start calling me more names than ususal: best guess is that ten million lives are at stake.
I need you back for this one. There's no way we can do this without neutralising the guards, and everyone else apart from Sarah and I is required elsewhere, and even if they weren't, they're just not ready for it. Sarah and I aren't going to be enough on our own.
Let me know whether you want to get on a plane back right now, or if you want to meet us on the way.
