Garrison,
So there have been some phone calls made - not by me, by the bald gentleman in the wheelchair who knows everyone. From what I gather, it was concluded that it would be good for us to have someone in on the ongoing investigation into what's going on in Hawaii, especially since that someone could then turn around and brief us effectively if we wind up having to go in.
In other words - yes, please give Fred Duncan a call.
I'm sorry I didn't follow up on your offer sooner. You've probably seen it mentioned on the journals that my brother Alex is in Hawaii and is not making himself easy to find. It turns out he was up on Kilauea when this all started, so I may have to step aside and let Ororo make most of the decisions if we do wind up going in. I'm afraid I'm notoriously bad about keeping my eye on the ball when my brother's involved.

Date: 2006-12-18 04:22 pm (UTC)I'll talk to Fred today. I don't know if he'll say yes, but the mutant thing makes it his area, and according to everyone that I've talked to, he's one of the good guys. Can you send me what you've got on this 'Pele' thing? There might be something we've got that they've missed or viceversa.
I'll catch up with you this evening when I get back from the office? I have a feeling that it's safest if I cook my own dinner tonight, so let me slap something together and meet you. I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you'll be at the comms.
