Shush you! Mock not my inablity to focus when reading foreign history. So, we could call it a date, then? Or a 'being in the same place at the same time as each other completely coincidentally so as to not draw attention to the dateness aspect'

The last time I told Mr. D that I was bored, I ended up writing a book. I think I see a pattern here.

I think he has a thing about how everything should be educational in some way. Which I don't mind, since hey, learning is cool. Besides, the library has great heating and it's cold outside.

Speaking of which, and sort of back to the car question - do you have your license yet?

Actually, I was asking because the club's liable to be checking ID, but your school ID has your birthday on it, so that should be fine. I am probably not the best driving teacher around, being self-taught and all. You'll want to ask Mr. Summers once the next semester rolls around, I think he's taught more than a few folks here. Not to mention there are MUCH easier cars to learn on than mine.

Ahh. Yes, I was going to ask Mr Summers for his help. Although, I've been told he comes out of driving lessons looking like the Ghost of his father suddenly turned up ala Shakespheare. I'm not sure that's entirely healthy for a man his age. You know, older then we are.

True. Although, ironically, he's one of the younger teachers here. I mean, even Shan's a year older than he is. Dr. Grey's FIVE years older. Scott was like, twenty-four when he took on the headmaster job, I think.

He was only twenty-four? Wow, that is young for a Headmaster's job. But he's been doing a great job of it. Despite the jokes I make, I don't tend to look at age much. I figure, once you're out of highschool, it's not really an issue anymore.

Which kind of brings up a point I have been kind of judging. Namely that "being out of high school" thing. Since I kind of am, and you're kind of not, and you're you're a student here and even though I'm not a teacher... is this weird?

I don't know. Maybe if I weren't in the situation, it might be. Other people might think it a little strange. But I am in the situation and I like you. I don't particularly want to stop just because you're a little older then me. But maybe, I don't know. Maybe we should keep it quiet for now, least till we know what it is we want?

This is still kinda new, you know?

That's kind of what I was thinking. I mean, I'm not totally certain what this is yet. Quiet is good - not because I think there's anything to hide, but you know what I mean, right?
