No, I actually did make it all the way to class with nothing but green lights. A small radio signaling device on my dashboard may have helped a little.

And we are looking to try and get some kind of sign of life out of Doug, are we not? To that end, if you're free this week, I am up for an evening of plotting, cleverly disguised as yet another very fancy night out.

Yet, this happened in the same week as his post about how much he hates the traffic lights that do not match some kind of pattern.

So far, he has not reacted, or said much at all to me at all. The last time I at least got a reaction. Although I do wonder if that was because I was genuinely dating Garrison. Perhaps it is... what is that term that you used? Observing bias? I am not seeing a reaction because I am looking for one?

I am free, except for tommorow. How very fancy is 'very fancy'? Formal? Semi-Formal? Creative Cocktail?

There is a miniscule yet non-zero chance that it could have been a total coincidence. Possibly.

Nothing Formal-formal, just whatever you'd feel comfortable in surrounded by professors, researchers, and laureates in the scientific community.

I don't think anyone there will look down on you for showing up in business casual. It's the Tesla Club, not Le Madeleine.

I have not seen that recently. There were two brief chances in the past two years, but both have since passed, and I do not think that it is possible now without events that are also quite unlikely. There are a very few things that could happen that could bring that about, but it is more unlikely than -many- -many- other things that I have seen.

Business casual by -my- standards may work then. I am assuming you still wear shirt and tie and coat to your business classes?
