In my case, not particularly well. Crystal did the majority of the work. The air-shield, a bit tricky to navigate. Seeing the one bloke splash on it was actually a bit pathetic. I'm not quite certain what would have been done had they not had the bloke with the power-wiping on hand.
I did manage a bit of a bounce-back. From reports it put one bloke right out. I rather wish it had been the one who saw me out of consciousness about thirty seconds later with a stick to the face, but I suppose sometimes there's simply not much to be done.
Any particular reason for the question?

Uhhh. Well. They tried to attack us, Crystal put up a sheild and I knocked a guy over, then they took our powers. We tried to run, but then Marius took their powers. Them, um, this guy was going to hurt Marius, I jumped on his back and tried to choke him, got knocked off and hurt my arm. Then the fat guy got a hold of me and jerked the bad arm around and made me stay still.
Stuff gets fuzzy after that.

Point of fact the first move was technically to flee. I feel that is only common sense when large men are making every effort to lay unwashed hands upon you.
As for how we found it in ourselves to fight back, I'm afraid I do not possess deep insight. It seemed a natural sort of thing to do, particularly when my feet were yanked out from under me. Perhaps less a step for me, as I spent the majority of my pre-Xavier's existence chasing down similarly large men across the field of sport and at times fail to recall the difference.
I feel they should start awarding you small prizes for every half-dozen genetic repairs you effect. At present you'd be better than halfway to the colour television.

Oh, I see. Why did you not just say that in the first place? That is an entirely different question, and the answer is that I simply acted. I was confronted by people who wished to cause harm to me or to someone who was with me at the time and I did what I thought was best to prevent such harm from occuring.
My first action, as you may recall, was an entirely defensive one. Well, it was an entirely defensive measure until that idiot decided to smash into it, not that he would have known it was there but if he had not attempted to attack us he would not have been harmed by the presence of my air wall. After that, I created the whirlwinds to show them that at least one of their intended targets did indeed possess offensive capabilities as well. Again, the whirlwinds remained as a defensive measure as I did not actually attack anyone with them and anyone who is stupid enough to run into a mass of swirling air moving at a high speed deserves what happens.
When I discovered that I could no longer make use of my abilities, I attempted to run with Jennie and Marius as staying to fight at that point, when there seemed to exist the possibility of leaving and returning to the mansion unscatched, would have been rather pointless other than the act of getting involved in sheer brutality. As this attempt to vacate the premises without needing to enter into a fight failed, and it was clear that these people had no qualms with causing us pain, I did what I felt was necessary to attempt to stop them. Then they were hitting and throwing Jennie and Marius and that was not something that I could allow to happen.
