Emails to .. well, lots of people.

Subject: An expirement regarding my precognition
In short, Kitty and I are trying an expirement to see if I can use my precognition on more than just events or people.
If I understand this correctly, Kitty is providing a set of stocks - twenty, I believe, and over two weeks, we are supposed to pick whether or not they increase or decrease in value and by how much. She can likely explain it better than I can, since I know absolutly nothing about the stock market, except that people have made a lot of money on it, and Jamie thinks pork belly futures are funny. I rather agree with him, actually. At least for the first part of this, I think I should keep it that way.
The purpose for this email is that Kitty feels that getting other people to pick stocks - seprately from my choices - will make it easier to see if it is the precognition working or if it is just good luck. If any of you would be willing to help, I would appriciate it.

Subject: About the other email.
In regards to the first email you should have recieved, we thought having a staff member involved would be a good idea, so that we are not playing with my powers without supervision. If you do not have time, do you know who else might be a good idea? I was going to ask Bobby, but Kitty said someone with not much knowledge about the stock market might be a good idea.

Subject: Questions about the stock market
Kitty and I are about to start an expirement to see if my precognition can be used in more practical ways. She wants me to try it first without any knowledge of the stock market and how it works.
Once the first round of this expirement works, if it is at all successful, could I speak to either of you about how to understand the stock pages better? At the moment, it is incomprensible to me.

I'd be happy to help, Angie. I've got time to do that, certainly. Just keep me updated and make sure that you report any side effects to The Basement Dwellers immediately, okay? I know you're good about this sort of thing, so I'm not worried about having to chase you down to make you go get taken care of. (Right? :))

M-A, I'll help...but I don't know how much help I will be. I don't know anything about the stock market.

Angie,
Oh-ho-ho. You crafty little minxes, you. In the interests of scientific research, I would be happy to help. Got time tomorrow?

I think the first round is supposed to take a few weeks, so we can wait. Kitty already gave Doug a talking to for reading about the stock market. I do not want to upset her scientific whatever-she-called-it.

That is the idea. Kitty wanted people who did not know much about it.

I plan to. I am not sure Kitty would let me not, and Doug certainly would march me down there myself.
The worst side-effect I have had lately is headaches and some of the usual insomnia, so I should be okay. I hope.

*grin* Let me know who all is in, and I'll send out slightly more detailed instructions and the stock list I 'chose'. (Blacked out the ones I knew we had local ties to: Infonet, Worthington and Shaw Industries, etc - then pinned it to my wall and through darts at the page. Figure that's as close to a random selection as we're going to get.)

I can do that. Count me in.
Oh, I dunno if you're still interested in trying other divination ways that aren't the cards, but now I'm back to me mostly-normal self, maybe we can pick up where I left off?
A.

I think it is 3-letter codes, but yes. Just names, and making up how much you guess they will go up or down. I think in American dollars. Kitty said she would send out longer instructions later.
Other divination ways would be helpful. I got another deck of cards, but I really hate them. (I have.. three now, technically. I think one is still in Mr. Wisdom's office.)

Thank you. Kitty should be sending out a big email later with all kinds of details, since she is being scientific about this.
