Crystal,
This may sound very odd - and it's kind of funny in a way because I believe we were just talking about a trip this summer, and I think in a manner of speaking I may have an occasion that could move up that particular timetable in an interesting way.
But I do digress.
As you might have inferred from Adrienne's rather colorful declaration, there's a bit of a situation brewing. To sum up, because it sounds strange even by my standards: group of evil terrorists led by an ex-Nazi scientist, creating a superweapon to cause massive chaos. We, that is, the X-Men and associated folks, have been asked to assist in preventing this group from obtaining the components of this superweapon.
I've received a mission briefing from Ororo, and (here comes the unusual part), we could really use your help. You see, one of the components we're looking for happens to be in an abandoned Russian deep-sea research facility in the Mariana Trench. With your abilities to manipulate air pressure, you would be a serious and possibly lifesaving asset down there.
I suppose this is probably the strangest thing I have ever asked, but would you be free this week to come save the world with me?

Forge,
Searching for an object that is needed to create a superweapon, in a deep-sea research facility... yes, I am sure that this is what most people think of when they think of a summer vacation. Is there a particular date set for this particular saving of the world? As much as the students would like for the opposite to be true, the school year is still in session and classes are supposed to take place this week. As it is, seeing how ready the students are for the last day of school, especially after the three-day weekend that just ended, I told my students during class today that they will be having study days either in the library or outside tomorrow and perhaps Thursday as well if they actually use the specified time on Wednesday for class-related matters. I assume that saving the world is supposed to take place sooner rather than later?

According to the plans, we're headed for Guam some time tomorrow. I'll come by with the pertinent information and give you a thorough briefing.
