Dear everyone,

I am very sorry for my behaviour in Kosovo. When I was hearing about the man who took me was being found, I was very angry and I did not stop to think about the things. It was the wrong thing to do, and I am very sorry people were being put in danger because I was not smart.

I would like to stay helping at the office, but if you are thinking it is better I do not, I will not be arguing. It would be the right thing to be doing.

I'm not near as angry as I was on the plane home. Some of that was because my leg was bugging me and aspirin wasn't working. Yeah, I'm still kind of annoyed with you - but seriously, I'm not gonna hold a grudge.

I mean, first of all, that'd make me a hypocrite, and second of all, what you did makes sense. It was really goddamn stupid, but it makes sense.

But. We gotta talk. And you owe me apology pizza. (Because Angel already got me some donuts.) I don't care what Garrison says, I at least get pizza and donuts out of this.

I'm not entirely sure what you want, Yvette. We've known each other long enough that you should know by now that I'm not going to take my friendship away just because you've done something irresponsible.

I don't know if I can be not angry at you right now though. Maybe once the wounds have healed, maybe then.

There's no reason for you to stop helping at the office; I know you enjoy it, you're quite good at it, and to me it doesn't make sense to punish you by taking away your chance to keep helping the people that get caught up in these sorts of situations.

But I think that I'm going to need to be sure that you've fully absorbed the lessons learned from this incident before you go into the field with Elpis again, for two reasons. One - you are a student and a minor, so anytime we take you out away from the school on Elpis business we are responsible for you, which is something I take very seriously. Two - I also have to be concerned about what incidents like this can do to Elpis's reputation and standing. We can be barred from a country for far less than this sort of thing. Our name may have been kept out of it this time, but I want to avoid a repeat performance, especially given the amount of trouble we get ourselves into in the normal course of operations.
