As a member of staff, and basically just living anywhere in the mansion, I am sure you're aware of the trouble with Miss. Dean lately. The past few days she's been more secluded, more introverted and been glowing much more dimly than usual. Granted, she is never happy to be stuck in self-defense class, particularly with me though I could be imagining that bit, but she's been much worse off in the past few weeks and this week in particular. We don't hold kids here against their will so I'm just wondering if there is anything that can be done about her, or rather for her. Is there a reason her parents are keeping her here against her will? Is there anywhere else she could go where she could also get powers training where she'd be happier? The girl frustrates me beyond the telling of it, but that doesn't mean I don't care or am unconcerned even if I may come off as such publicly often.
She doesn't participate in most of my class anyway given so much of it is practical application so if it would help any I'd be willing to excuse her from class in order to see you and talk to you if she'd like. I just don't know what else to do. Given you're the counselor I figured you'd be a good starting place for this discussion. I'd rather not take it to Charles unless necessary.
Morgan.
