Dear Kevin,

I hope you are well and that you are having the good time in California with the West Coast Annex people. I am good. Mr. Logan has come back and we are doing the wood carving again together. There are also many new people coming to the mansion since you left. There is Miss Lil, who is very tall and cannot be hurt, even by my skin. And there is Cammie, who is the older student who has the poison blood and is drinking things like the drain cleaner and not being sick. She is another of our "no touching people" club, since she makes people sick if she is doing so for too long. There is the new boy also, Julian. He is very good looking and kind.

There is also the news of Jay. I was telling you that he had come back changed, yes? It is more than we were thinking; the person who made his wings metal was changing his mind also, to being the hunter like Mr. Logan and he is very angry and unhappy. Dr. Grey and Mr. Logan are finding the ways to help him and he is allowed to be leaving the medical place and have the visitors, but he cannot be upset or his wings are trying to hurt people. Mr. Logan says he will be learning to be the person again, but for now, he is not wanting to be seeing anyone so much. We are trying to look after him.

I am missing you very much sometimes, especially when the mansion is so noisy and full. Sometimes I am going down to the workshop to be practicing what you are teaching me. I am not the great artist like you are being, but I think I will have the nice surprise for you when I am visiting during the spring break.

I have to be going now. My study period is finished and I have the History class with Mr. Guthrie to go to.
