So,
Considering you once helped me drink quite a lot of wine, I feel that I should probably forgive you for harshing my weird hour DVD watching. So, what do you say to a truce? I'll even let you pick out the replacement cake I'm buying Jake this afternoon.

Jubilation,
I could possibly make time for such an endeavor; Jake has the most annoyingly effective puppy dog eyes when he is bereft of cake.

Jubilee is just fine, dude. Don't go getting all formal and old on me, yeah?
When are you free next? You realise Jake only uses puppy dog eyes because he knows you'll completely cave every time, yeah?

I will start making an effort to remember this when I no longer anticipate your addressing me as 'JP'. Until then, I have the happy recourse of acting my age.
I think I have about ninety minutes free tomorrow between prom prep and final finals revisions. Are you available around noon?

You'll always be JP to me, dude. It just has that certain ring to it, you know? And I totally act my age, all twenty one years of it. Or is it twenty two now? I think I lost a birthday somewhere in there, and then there was the whole Asgard time on top of that too.
I am indeed available around Noon. I need to stop off a few places but I can do that earlier.
Lookit you though, being all responsible and adult. Do your students know you hold naked conversations with people at weird hours of the morning?

PS: Totally wish I'd had my camera on me.

Then at least that comfort in the fact that your name itself is a celebration. Perhaps if I repeat it often enough, some of the formality will wear off.
I am sure that I would have to involve the police if I ever had full knowledge of what my students actually do know about me. I intend to drift in blissful ignorance for as long as I may.
I will see you shortly.
