I'm sorry I missed you last night, but you are right, by the time I got there it wasn't your kind of party. It would not normally be mine either, but my mind had decided to remember that last year I spent my birthday in Srinagar and drinking with others seemed a better idea than drinking alone.
On that note, the champagne and cake is gone, but I still have several bottles of cognac as well as the never-ending stash of Makers. If you'd care to join me, I shall be here much of the night and my office door is open.
