Of course. We can even get you set up in the spare room in advance this time, so you do not have to risk neck-cramp on the couch. Just let your roommate know you will be gone; leave a note or something if you do not feel like talking. I assume dinner is a given?

I apologize for the omission. I thought you would have enough on your mind just hearing about Lillian's departure, moreso after you were blindsided by news of Madison's existence, and there seemed no good time to mention it after.

It's okay. I guess it isn't easy having to be the bearer of that kind of news and I know I didn't take any of it very well. But you were going to tell me eventually, right?

If the subject of what happened to my old team came up again, yes. But between my being out of the loop on such matters (with good reason) and the focus of our worry being Lillian specifically, it did not seem likely.

I know. I will miss her too. But we can always go and visit, hm? You have seen how I drive; it would not take long.

But...Lil grew up with those people. Doesn't what she's going through tie in with all of them? With our ability to help? I've only known my teammates for a few months. I don't even want to think about how it'd feel to lose them without even having been there to help.

...Yeah. The way you drive, we'd be there in under an hour.
