Hey Skin...you know how much I hate goodbyes, so don't be mad that I didn't come tell you in person. You know how I've been investigating some of the Alpha Flight stuff in my spare time? Well, Amanda and the folks at Snow Valley turned me on to a lead that I can only follow if I go undercover. I'll keep in touch the best I can, but contact will probably have to be far and few in between to keep my cover intact. I filled out the paperwork and have withdrawn from school...sucks to be only a semester away from my degrees, but I just can't not do this. I hope you understand.

I've got a real, solid lead now, one that might have the answers we all want...but the only way for me to follow it is to go undercover. I'm leaving tonight and don't know when I'll be back. Professor Xavier,

I apologize for the lack of notice, but I find myself having to leave the school on short notice. I know you'll understand - I have a lead that I can only follow if I go undercover and any delay could make the trail go cold. I've arranged for a sub for my classes for the remainder of this week and next week as well I. hope that makes my leaving less difficult.
