Morgan mentioned that she spoke to you on friday and that things didn't go well. Is everything alright with you? I don't know what went down but I know I've been on the receiving end of one of her disapprovals and I found it pretty rough. If you want to talk let me know. I'm not going to play sides or 'who said what' but you're both my friends and if I can help I'd like to try.

Also, you should not let *her* make it clear where 'we' stand. You need to get your two cents in with her no matter how obstinate she is about where she stands.

Casualty as in she made it very clear that she can't trust me to be her friend if I'm going to put work above privacy. It didn't matter that I've had more than enough people in my life go temporarily evil, even done it myself once as you know - all that mattered to her was J-P and the fact I raised him being back as a potential issue with my team, the people I trust to be able to sort things out without making a fuss.
She doesn't want to listen to my two cents, Adri. I told her about the Selene thing, how I'd had to kill someone when I was seventeen because I'd fucked up and no-one tried to find out what was going on with me, and then she goes and tells me I can't understand because I've never had a life-changing event. She's just like all the rest of them - only interested in me as long as I'm doing what she wants and then dumping me over the side as soon as someone else comes along.
What's the saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm not falling for that again.

Makes sense to me, not wanting to 'fall for that' again. The Blueberry's stubborn, especially when it comes to loyalty and trust, her lines about where they are and how no one can cross them. She doesn't dump people over the side easily though, so maybe you're just sort of being keelhauled for a while until she's calmed down and then she'll let you up? Of course that doesn't mean you should wait for that to happen, since I understand how you're feeling like it's always her tune you have to sing and I can understand you not wanting to sing her tunes all the time.
Did you kiss her after you explained yourself? That seems to help, I've found.

Well, let's just say I've been burned by worse than her and I'm not a silly kid any more that's going to sit around and wait for her to remember that I'm not actually a bad person. If she sorts her shite out, good for her. I've done all the mea culpaing I can stand.
