Kevin,
I spoke to Haven, therefore I was the one to tell you what I had discovered. Should I have chosen to ask someone else to deliver the new-found information? It was not a matter of whether or not it was my "job"; I felt that it was the right thing to so.
Also, if it makes you comfortable to call me "Miss Amaquelin" then so be it, but it is not necessary. We may not have been students together for more than a couple of months, but we did begin the school term together, and I have never been your teacher.

Cammie,
It is my sincere hope that you will not associate me with the information I related to you on Friday. People can have the tendency to 'shoot the messenger' and I hope that this is not the case here. I am so very sorry about what has happened. I wish that I could change it; I had hoped to receive different news during my last visit to District X, but it was not to be. Still, you and the others deserved to know what had been said, and I saw no reason to expect anyone else to be the bearer of the news.

Miss Amaquelin,
You didn't need to explain yourself to me. What I said wasn't meant as a judgement of whether or not you overstepped your bounds so I apologize if it seemed like that. I would have expected anything related to the mutation disappearance to come from Dr. McCoy or one of the other doctors since that just seems logical to me. I didn't mind that it came from you.
You and I have never have a casual or social relationship. We're not friends and we don't really have mutual friends that causes us to interact that way. I was raised to call people "sir" and "ma'am" regardless of age. We might be close in age but we're not exactly peers either. That combined with the way you speak and seem to conduct yourself puts you in a place of respect with me. That means you're suck with "ma'am" and "Miss Amaquelin" unless you really want me to call you "Crystal" and "that chick over there."
