Give it up, his skull's apparently real thick and his brain is real small. I've tried half that stuff you were saying to him before and basically all that comes out of it is that he thinks I'm a dick who doesn't like him for no reason and that Jean-Paul doesn't like him just because I don't. Seriously, he's an idiot and I'd swear to God I think he's either in serious denial about his sexuality or really bad about trying to pretend he's straight.

My advice is try to ignore and avoid, or eventually piss him off enough that he avoids you and solves the problem that way.

He certainly does seem to be sending quite a lot of mixed messages. I think I'd be far more patient with him if he seemed to pay attention to absolutely anything I had to say. Or managed not to be offensive with everything he said.

I hate to actually agree with anything he has to say, but I do think he is actually stupid.

Ain't disagreeing there, but as the guy who has only taken art classes in college and is from the deep South I find it kinda offensive to blame him being stupid on being an "uneducated country man." Seriously? He dropped out of college, graduated from college and I'm pretty sure where he's from in Nebraska ain't "the country" either.

And how do you not get that inviting a guy out for a drink and back to your room or asking a guy for a back rub is sort of a pick up attempt? Yeah, he's dumb alright. He should stop making excuses for why though. I don't think anyone's buying them.

Considering that some incredibly intelligent people never do go to college, and some incredibly stupid people do, I don't think he has any leg to stand on. And I'm fairly sure where someone is born has little impact on their intelligence either, though he does seem to be upholding the dumb hick stereotype extremely well.

I have no idea. It's possibly the most unsubtle pick up attempt of all time, and if he doesn't see that, I think he's going to end up in a lot of trouble one day, and considering he doesn't seem particularly good at talking his way out of trouble, I imagine it will end badly.

If he wants to try to play the hick card then we can treat him like a dumb hick. But then he gets all like a little girl having a fit when you treat him like he's dumb. Ain't no winning, really, unless you can go for the all out avoid.

Lucky for him he has the impenetrable force field thing, right? I think he'd end up beaten all to hell if he didn't. Possibly after he woke up penetrated and started going off about fags and stuff being gay.

I'd managed to avoid him before now, I'm sure I'll have no problem continuing that trend. It means avoiding Harry's, which is a pity, but I think I'll survive.

Considering his enthusiasm for getting as drunk as possible, it wouldn't surprise me if that did happen to him at some stage. If not for the forcefield thing. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

There's more than one bartender at Harry's right? Maybe you can just spy and see if he's working and not go in if he's the only one there. I mean, if he's got a coworker there and then is a total douche to you that's got to get him in trouble, right? And then you can try to only deal with the other bartender. But that's just a lot of assumptions since I've never gone to Harry's.

I dunno, I mean, the force field has to have a hole, right? He's got to eat and go to the bathroom. Wouldn't that make him completely penetrable? And wouldn't that mean he'd feel it?

I think they'd lose all of their customers if Jared was the only bartender there. But you're right, there's no point in avoiding a place people like frequenting just because of one idiot.

I refuse to follow you down the mental path. I'm just not going there.
