Subject: Music of the Askani...

Here's what I was thinking, in regards to the Music of the Askani. With your help, we would take in the students who shared dreams with you (best way to put it, no?), one at a time in the studio. We explain the process fully to them. And then perhaps a meditative trance or if need be maybe a little telepathic nudging from you or the Professor if you'd rather, we can ensure we get all the songs they experienced as accurately as possible after a first run through from memory. I know you likely have all that in your own memory already, but - participating in this would be more than good for them. In so many ways. Don't you think? And good for you, too. Sharing something that will always be with you, which they grasped at briefly but can still be a part of. We do group efforts after that, for the ensemble pieces but also for what might be brought back to memory for all, the triggers that might provide .

Translation is an option for later on, but rendering them in their original language has to be done first.

After that... you and I go over everything else in your head about Askani music. And set that down to track. Every note, every word, every song.

Everything.

And if you are amenable to it... experiencing it first hand would be an honor. If you don't mind bringing me in your mind for that purpose, that is. It would give me the first hand experience I'd need to really bring the music to life, as it should be done.

You really do have a mind that's devious in all the good ways. Getting the students to participate in this is important, you're right. Knowing is one thing, experiencing is another... and I'm still having some trouble with complex English, obviously.

As for the rest, I'm at your disposal. Well, except for this weekend, at which point I'm going to be at Moira's disposal in a different country. But anyway.

I can think of several memories, right off the top of my rather cluttered head, that you would love to share. They had a celebration they called Winternight (roughly corresponding to our winter solstice, I think) where they stayed up all night and sang to the sun as it rose in the morning. Really quite amazing...
