Subject: Arabic and Mandarin - proposed syllabi
Attached find... well, pretty much what I said in the subject line. I did some research on teaching methods for both languages (since neither is particularly easy) and wound up combining and modifying a few. I've configured both courses to fit the summer schedule around here, which of course means they can't help but be introductions and not much else. Let me know what you think - I'm assuming that it's probably going to be a case of one or the other, although I'm certainly open to doing both if there's sufficient demand. (Still working on the international relations syllabus, of course.)
I'll see you next week,
Nathan
