~I gather from what I've seen on the journals that your English is coming back (I'm glad) but I figured I would stick to the Askani for this, to make sure you understood it all.~

~I was worried that... well, that you might be worried, after Amanda posted what she did about Askani. I won't go into details, but I'm all right. Call it part of the adjustment process - I need to remember that these are people with their own needs and fears and sometimes that's going to make them do things I'd probably rather they wouldn't.~

~In any case... just, no need to worry. That's all I wanted to say.~

~I'm at half and half now. Writing only in either language is driving me insane. Short trip, some would say. Askani is still a bit easier but I slip from one to the other more and more. It's starting to feel like things are settling though.~

I was. Got a few emails from concerned parties too.

~And so I need to ask. Am I the only one to have had what you could call a positive experience with Askani, brother? From random comments and the like, I keep getting the feeling no one else did... and I've been working on the theory that both you and Charles are at least aware of enough to balance things out, whatever those things might be, but if I'm the only one without badness associated to her, then I'm worried about that, at least.~

Oh, I worry. Probably written down in whatever job description was written up for me on my day of birth. I worry less when there's talking going on, mind.

Oh, look! English! Now if I can just get the idiomatic expressions back I'll be set...

~You're not the only one to have had positive experiences with her. She and Moira had a perfectly calm little chat, and my experiences lately with her have been more good than bad. I think it was just the circumstances of what happened... which I can't really get into.~

~I worry a little about Amanda's post. Whether it's going to dilute enthusiasm for our project and the language group. I'll be committing ritual suicide if necessary, not to worry.~

~The whole thing was my fault, I've concluded. I'm talking to Charles about it tomorrow. And more emails, you say? Oh joyous day.~

PS: ~I've given up on sleep. It either doesn't come, or I have nightmares, or I sit down and doze off in embarassing positions. Sleep is the enemy.~
