Askani chose to borrow my telepathy last night while I was asleep and took a trip into Manuel's dream. According to her, the two of them have made peace, or at least called a truce. She has agreed to have her empaths help train him, and he has graciously agreed to accept their help.
Obviously this isn't happening without your approval, whatever the two of them agreed. She says she'll speak to either or both of you about what this would involve, at your convenience. There are quite a number of empaths among them, most of them very skilled. I think they can certainly help Manuel, so long as he's willing to listen.
Charles, I know that she broke her promise about not borrowing my powers without asking, but it seems very petty of me to quibble with the results.

As long as she is clear that forgiveness is no substitute for permission, however much more easily it may or may not be obtained, I see no reason to quibble either.
I think this will be good for both of you, in fact--or, perhaps more accurately, "all of you"--and I would very much like to discuss Askani's proposed curriculum with her.
