Delivered to Doug's office
May. 7th, 2012 08:13 amHandwrapped journal, and on the first page is written,
I know it is a little low tech, but sometimes low tech makes your thoughts seem safer. Happy birthday, mo chara.
PS - The whiskey is to help you get your thoughts started, in case you need it. ;)
PSS - I also owe you an afternoon of doing no thinking at all.
Included in the package is a (small) bottle of the same whiskey that was MYSTERIOUSLY delivered to her on Valentine's day, along with a pair of pretty (but cheap) whiskey glasses.

Thank you. I'm surprised you didn't include the eyeliner for if I write any emo poetry, though. ;-)
No thinking at all, hm? What'd you have in mind? (or is that why there are two glasses?)

I was afraid you might get the pencil for your eyes and the pencil for your paper mixed up.
Traditionally, choice of activity is Birthday-recipient's choice. The glasses were for if you are wanting to share your very fine whiskey with me. Is it the girl scouts who are always prepared?

Well, maybe after enough whiskey.
Birthday boy's choice, huh? I could get myself in trouble with that much of an open-ended invitation, rua.
Both sets, boys and girls, I believe.

Well then, call me a girl scout and pass the bottle.
Could you now? And what is it you could be doing to get yourself in trouble without thinking about it at all, at all?

I'll call you whatever you like.
Well, the particular activity I'm referring to, the one that would get me in trouble, if we were doing it right, you'd better not be thinking.

What? Sky diving? Oh, wait, that might only be if you're doing it wrong. Hmm. No, I can not think of anything else.

Mine involves much less risk of injury and death.

Oh. Right. Well. Let me know what you want to do with your afternoon. Maybe on of those plays in the park? They start up next month, I think.

That is what the journal is for. :p Let me know. You have a year to redeem the offer.
