...what's this I hear about you making yourself sick healing the old man? Do I need to come over there and get all big sisterly on your ass? Don't think I won't drag you out and spoil you rotten until you're too relaxed to move, if I have to. I'm devious that way.
Seriously, I hope you are feeling better and taking it easy. No burning yourself out before you're twenty - there are a lot of people who would highly disapprove of that, you know. I know we didn't have a lot of time to get to know each other, but I figured out pretty quickly that you're one of those scary people who doesn't quite know when she should quit. I respect the hell out of that, but I'd rather have you around for a long time to come, you know?
Still planning to be over my way next month? I've got some friends that'd love to meet you, if so. I promise I won't bruise Lizard Boy, even if he starts drooling at my chest again.
Love,
Dom

Hey big sis,
Um, yeah. Overdid things a bit, tho' in my defence it wasn't all me being stubborn. Seems like there were a few things my first 'teacher' forgot to mention about stuff, and the rest I taught myself, so I really didn't know I was pushing too much. And having to use some high-level spells when Jamie's evil twin decided to get nasty (I'm guessing Nate told you that story) was just the icing on the cake, really. But I'm fine, haven't done anything more than small stuff for the past few days, and I've gotten a job working as a stablehand for a bit before heading home.
We still don't have any specific plans as in when and how, but Manny and I will be heading across the pond at some point in time to meet the family and all. Catching up with you and the rest sounds brilliant, tho'. I'll let you know when there's actual tickets booked. *grins*
So, how're things with you?
A.

Date: 2004-06-01 03:55 pm (UTC)I'm in Rio at the moment, spending a little of the nice fat paycheque I just earned. Should be heading back 'home' by the weekend - was planning to go back earlier, but I've made a couple of new friends with a lot of stamina. *snickers* Let me know what your plans are, when they're made. Hopefully we can hook up.
Dom
