See, if I'd done the actual arse kicking, as opposed to the other thing that I'm denying, Doug would have crawled into a hole and never come out again. And he is a fast learner, so hopefully you shouldn't have to go through all that again. ;)

Manuel... Well, look at it this way. Would you have agreed to his 'payment' if you hadn't already slept with Remy? And if it hadn't been for the potion mess, you wouldn't have had to go to him at all in the first place. Which is leading me to do a Doug and curl up into a guilty ball, so we'll leave it there. But any way, you get another shot at doing things the right way around this time, and with a sweet, nice guy who you can guarantee will never take advantage of you in the bad way, ever.

Complaining art teachers... Fuck. Not only do I get the Pillock back again next term, bloody Lee's talking about taking Art as well. If I didn't enjoy it so much, I'd quit. But hopefully I will get to take something else than remedial classes next time, provided I pass stuff. And I envy you your uni-level class - did you trick him into passing you off on that?

I'll let you know if you get too cute on me if you let me know if I get too crude. I figure I'll have to tone down a bit if I'm meeting Manuel's people, *sighs* at least once I've shocked the stuffing out of his Dad. And you know I'm always up for gossip of the more PG rated kind. ;)

So far, he has not made the same mistake twice.

None of that would have happened at all, had I not assisted Dr. Essex with the kidnapping, possibly. Nathan said once, that dwelling on the what-ifs would only make me sick and upset. I keep trying to remember that, about Manuel, about Kwannon, about Skippy..

Jubilee? Wants to take art? WHY? She's bad enough in music class.
Maybe she will spend the entire class drawing stupid cartoons and -not- trying to bribe my boyfriend into helping her with Algebra with them and forgetting that he has a perfectly good girlfriend who can draw a damn sight better than she can.

Piotr was perfectly happy to sign the forms saying I had exceeded anything I could learn here. I am not sure he was quite aware of exactly what he signed, but it is not my fault if he does not read the small print becauseitwasinmyroom, now is it? It is only the one uni-level class though, and I have to get my drivers' license before I can take it, or be stuck on campus for 3 hours while Doug takes some terrible confusing math thing. Or else see if I cannot manage my way into another course.

The way Manuel talks about his father bothers me. The entire way he talks about his -family- bothers me. Not in the "That is different' way, but .. I cannot put my finger on it. It just feels. I do not know. Tenative? Tenuous? Something about it feels wrong.

As for gossip. I suspect that except my own, I am at a loss, and mine is simply just my surprise that under the blushing nerd, my boyfriend is a bit of a tease, and after a bit, knew -exactly- what he was doing. Damned smug little grin.

Yep, Jubilee wants to take Art. You must've seen her 'round the place, wanking 'round with her sketchpad in an effort to pass herself off as a 'serious artist'? It's going to be Hell - possibly literally, if she pushes me too far and I send her to a demon dimension somehow... Still, it'd be worth whatever bad karma would come of it. ;)

You even sure the Pillock can read small print? *grins* And hey, if you get your licence, that means whole new avenues of mischief and mayhem are open to us. *eg* And Nate would probably go for it if you could give him a good reason for signing off on another class. Too bad those classes aren't on a Saturday when I have my sessions with Doc Strange, or we could keep ourselves entertained whilst waiting for Doug. The Village isn't that far away and there's a metric shitload of cool places to see around there.

See, this is where I wish I knew more about normal families. Or even abnormal ones - fuck knows Rack doesn't count as any sort of family, and the foster families I was in never felt like anything I was actually a part of. But yeah, there's something Not Right about Manny's family, if the emotions I get from him down the link when he talks about them is anything to go by.

See, as far as I know, it's you and Doug, me and Manny, and Kitty and Jamie. Unless you want to speculate on what Nate and Moira get up to with that TK of his? *eg* I could prattle about Beth, but I know that's pushing the edges of what you're comfortable with talking about.

In the interest of not having him misinterpret the small print in some way that would lead to me -not- having my class, I left it in my room anyway.

I suspect Nathan would sign off on it as well, espically if I explained my reasons. I am running out of history classes, and to be honest - I managed an A this semester while -sleeping- in class most days. Admittedly, Shinobi and I had an arrangement, but I should not have been able to do that.

We should visit the metric arseload of cool places anyway. The drivers licence will happen eventually - I just need more practice and finesse, I am told.

I definitly, absolutly, in no way want to think about Dr. MacTaggart and Nathan doing anything with any powers or any bits, or ... at all. That is like thinking about my parents. Ew. Not thinking about that. No. No. No.

I suppose technically Warrenandthepillock count as a couple. And Sarah and Shinobi, if "running off to Boston and acting less maturely then Artie or Miles" counts for couplehood. and Lorna and Alex. And Marie and Logan, but again with the buggering off to places. Though, I think Jane is sweet on Bobby. And if the look she gives -him- is the look I give Doug, I can understand why everyone thinks we're cute enough to make someone sick.
