Awesome! I'm not really picky, I just <3 punk, lots of styles - and fusions. too, especially Ska. The faster, the better! I <3 the energy at the shows. And it's my preferred method of getting mad about political stuff!
Oh, except I don't like the emo-sounding subgenres. And I like some hardcore but I prefer shows where not all the bands are screaming the lyrics.

Okay so happy peppy energetic preferably Ska-type punk, no screamo stuff. I can totally work with that. I will figure out if I still have numbers for perky spazzy punk types in the city to see what they know is going on.

Date: 2012-07-25 12:49 am (UTC)Found all girl bands punk show Fri night and a show Sat that's got a ska band and like a punk/triphop(?) band. Dunno that's what I was told they were. Both mutant/wings friendly. Know the venues but dunno the bands playing except one of the chick punk ones and they're decent/fun

Date: 2012-07-25 04:27 am (UTC)TripHop is electronic yeah. Supposed to be TripHop-Punk fusion. IDEK. They're playing with the Ska band though. You know how weird punk show line ups can be. We can hit the girl show Fri AND the ska/punk-triphop one Sat if you want.
