Hi bosslady,

It's really only sinking in with me now that I'm not going back to school this fall, after everything that's happened in the last few months, which means I'm going to have a lot more free time between now and the new year than I thought I'd have.

So, if it's ok with you and everyone else, I'm available to work on more of a full time basis with you guys, if you'll have me that is. I'm planning to apply for classes again next year but between now and then I can work more than the part time hours I've been working so far.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know since I finally realized that myself. Hope you have a great rest of your day and I'll talk to you soon. :)

Hey workerbee,

We'd be happy to have you around more often. I'll need a day or two (unless my surveillance tonight is particularly dull) to work out scheduling so we don't have you and Jessica overlapping too much. While Lucas and I don't mind having the two of you lounging around with nothing to do while you're on the clock it seems sort of dull for you and perhaps not the wisest use of pay roll. One of the things Lucas and I have talked about is the possibility of having someone else vetting clients and cases, doing those initial interviews and being able to judge whether or not we have the time and personnel to take them on so that Lucas and I can have some information and perhaps some prioritization already done for us when cases and clients get to our eyes. It would still be working with people and largely in the office but if it's something you're interested in we can look at it as a possibility to give you some more variety in what you're doing while in the office.

Another option is for you to maybe split time between being in the office and out of the office. Easy things like running errands for office supplies and checking up on recent clients to make sure everything's okay. Perhaps also coming out when we would be better served by having two sets of eyes during surveillance or looking into leads if that's something you'd be interested in. You've been with us for a bit so we're willing to expand what you do for us but if you'd prefer to stick to filing, transcribing notes, making coffee and generally being awesome that's quite alright as well.

Let me know and then I'll get to work on scheduling.

Oh wow, that sounds awesome! I'd totally love to be doing more around the office, either interviewing clients and whatnot or getting out and about and in the field. Both if possible, maybe. I really, really do like working there and getting to do more would be... well, it'd be pretty darn cool. I'm sorry, I'm probably coming off as a crazy fangirl here, aren't I? >.>

But yes, please, more of anything and everything would be awesome. So very, very awesome, please. :D Just let me know if and what you need from me to expand on things and I'm so there!

Don't worry, our quota for crazy fangirls is really dragging so we can use another addition to the crowd.

I'll figure out a training schedule along with your new more permanent schedule. For now why don't you assume you'll be working roughly 9-5 M-F. You'll probably be stuck like glue to either myself or Lucas depending on the day. We'll have you sit in with us on initial meetings with clients and work up to you interviewing them on your own. Once you're comfortable with that we'll probably split you between client-related activities (checking in on recent ones whose cases are closed, meeting with new ones and acting as a communication go between for us and clients whose cases we're currently working on) and odds and ends until we have appropriate stuff in the field we can take you on and start training you on that stuff. Once we start dragging you out of the office your hours might get pretty scattered and erratic so be prepared to be a bit flexible on that front, okay?

Ok then, that's probably a good thing just in case because I can try not to geek out but aldkaolikwd it's hard not to. I AM EXCITE.

That's perfect, I can do 9-5 no sweat! And if the job means having to work varying hours depending on the sitch then I'm totally down with that too, promise. You can count on me!
