I couldn't resist. Especially since I found this on a postcard stand right across from a very similar-looking little alleyway. I followed it and found myself on the roof of another building, looking out at the Aegean. One of the best views I've seen yet.

Anyway, we're having a great time. The island's gorgeous, if very vertical. I am both eating and sleeping, you'll be happy to know. Mostly because Moira is doing her almighty best to wear me out.

If you get this before you go, safe flight and I'll see you on Muir.

Thought you might like this picture. It's one of the old mills you see here and there on the island. Some of them have even been renovated into places to stay. You can't tell in this picture, but most of them are white with blue roofs, just like the rest of the island.

We're having a really nice time, and we'll bring back lots more pictures to show off.

This is one of the 'classic' postcard shots, the little old man told me. Gives you a pretty good idea of what the architecture around here looks like. Blue and white, everywhere you look. It's almost surreal. Real places aren't supposed to be this pretty.

Moira and I have been shopping today. Single-handedly supporting the economy of Fira, actually. I have no idea how we're going to get it all home. And this is just the first round. Pray for me.

This place is entirely too pretty. The town we're staying in, Fira, is right at the top of these cliffs. You should see the view from the terrace outside our room.

We're having a great time. I think this was precisely what we needed.

Thought you might appreciate the color and light in this one. I'd be tempted to think the photographer was using some sort of filter on the camera if this wasn't precisely how the sky outside our window looked last night.
