~I'm back - where are you? We should talk about the music project. I think, also, I'll start the Askani language group this week. I did get the chance to think about how to best do it while we were on Santorini.~
~Also, I have something for you and a few different somethings for Miles. Moira and I did a lot of shopping.~

Subject: have several somethings for you
Moira and I went to some truly great Greek restaurants while we were on Santorini. Everything from little cafes to the rather upscale place where she wore that rather astonishing dress. I don't know whether it was Greek hospitality or what, but they happily gave out recipes for the asking. I figured you'd prefer something like that as opposed to a generic souvenir. I've got them all together in an envelope - some are neatly typed, others are on recipe cards, a couple are scrawled on the back of napkins - and I brought you back a bottle of very good ouzo, too, since a number of the recipes require it.

Subject: something has occurred to me...
I don't suppose it actually matters for the summer language courses, given that they're pretty much informal, but if I'm going to do more teaching in the fall I suppose I need to be properly certified in New York, don't I? My degrees are in an identity I can safely use, so making it official is definitely feasible. Just not quite sure how to go about it...

ps: Moira spent the better part of an hour picking out the floppiest, silliest hat she could find for you. Just to give you advance warning, it is truly appalling. It has a whole silk bouquet on it.
