When you get back, Askani's willing to do it telepathically, if you trust her to do that. (And now she's hissing at me for typing that.) I'm not sure that I would. I have suspicions that she might take the opportunity to give you the whole shebang, like she did Alison. She's been overly interested in you since that last conversation you two had. Keeps referring to you repeatedly as 'little sister', which has a significance I don't fully understand yet. (Now she's shouting at me. Ow.) But I can certainly use more traditional methods to make sure you get caught up...
Hope Spain's going well,
Nate

The first draft are in the attachment. I took your suggestions into account. Not all of your suggestions, but then, I didn't go with all of mine, either. I think I struck a happy medium. Let me know what you think.
Also, you are planning to come tomorrow night? Well, tonight, rather... I'm forgetting the lateness of the hour here. If you feel comfortable with the idea, Askani would like to talk to you for a few minutes beforehand. I think she wants to convince you to let her give you some of the social and cultural background she gave Alison when she taught her Askani. I'm not sure why. She's a bit pissed at me at the moment (long story) so she's being close-mouthed. No harm in hearing her reasoning from her, though, right?

Askani precogs, I mean. Would you like to talk to them? Or have me talk to them? They're quieter than the rest of the psis. I gather a precog was a very depressing thing to be in their time.

The public apology wasn't really necessary, though I did appreciate it. Anyhow, you and I ought to talk sometime. Angelo pointed out to me that I, or one of the people in my head, rather, might have some constructive suggestions to make regarding your mutation.
I won't push, but let me know if you're interested.

Bring the scary firebird woman on - if she's got something she wants to show me, I can take it. I'm not scared of her. And have you ever noticed how street lights are really pretty late at night? All shiny and twinkly like multicoloured stars.
And I think I'm a little bit off me face. Manny took me to this place in the mountains, sum kind of old site and it gave me a bit of a buzz. And I flew! I ahd the power for the flying spell and it was wonderful and then we... oops, can't talk about that 'cause someone's telling me to get off the computer or he'll carry me off an tie me to the bed. Or not tie me to the bed, since I'd enjoy that too much. Spoilsport.
Okay, I'm logging off. Bye nate.

I have a couple minor suggestions, see the attached revision.
As for the rest...of course I'm going to be there. I'm just as interested as everyone else, if not more so. As regards Askani herself...well, as long as she's fairly civil, I think I can manage. I _do_ have a large curiosity about a lot of the cultural context of their time period. But I'm still a little miffed at the way she screwed you over back when you were getting your precog under control, so she'd better be polite about it. (And if she's reading this over your shoulder, as it were, I'm not angry per se, just a little miffed at the way you were ill-used for a while there.)
So yeah. See you at the thing later tonight. :)

Subject: Askani precognitives
I can see how it would be hard for them. Precognition just seems to be troublesome no matter what.
If it is difficult for them, I do not want to put anyone to any trouble, expically if it would mean revisiting painful memories (memories of seeing the future? There needs to be a word for that other than 'visions') - but if they would be willing to speak to you, or to me, I would greatly appriciate it, if simply only for the perspective of getting to see how other people have handeled living with this 'gift'

I felt like I owed the apology, although I wasn't sure if I should have directed it at you or Blaire. I need to stop making enemies at some point, which is why I'll leave out all unhelpful comments about voices in your head, and just ask when would be a good time.
So when would be a good time?
