Subject: Field code name

I'm sending this to the three of you since you are the people at whose request I've helped out with X-Men-related duties most frequently.

So back during the fight against D'Spayre while we were rescuing Tandy, Haller called me by my real name. I don't believe this is a good idea, as I have no desire to make it any easier for a demon or anyone else wanting to cause injury or damage to people in my life (not to mention myself) to find out who I am and where I live. I pointed this out in the field, but when he brought it up afterwards he pointed out to me that he did so because I don't have a field moniker. I have no desire to become an official member of your squad and put myself through your training program, however, since I have become wrapped up in quite a few of the X-Men's escapades since moving here I feel it's naive to think I won't be embroiled in more in future. As such, I feel the best course of action to protect the school and those living here is to put a code name for myself on file and then, if need for it should arise in future, it won't catch the team off-guard if I ask to be identified by it rather than my real name. I hope this is acceptable to you.

In terms of said moniker, I had been getting myself comfortable with the idea of Mnemosyne as a name (Syne for short) after the Greek goddess of memory. But then Tandy suggested CoverGirl, which I admit I'm fond of, and it has the added benefit of not advertising my powers to the foe. If both could be put on my file for future reference, I would greatly appreciate it.
