Seems like I roped myself into trainin' the kid. He mentioned you two were his powers and self defense teachers. Anything in particular I should know about the kid or what you've been teachin' him?

He has a radar ... thing. Like a bat, or a dolphin. He's got a couple of bad habits from boxing - his dad boxed, and he's actually got a pretty mean right hook. Telegraphs fucking EVERYTHING though - which kinda makes sense since he can't see what he's doing. He's real bad about working through pain - I mean, he WILL work through it - but sometimes he won't say direct if he's bruised up.

He's usually a good kid, but sometimes he can be a little shit who sleeps in class but what kid isn't a shit sometimes, right?

What Kyle said. We've been working on endurance as well as basic defense. Got him using his cane kind of like a staff, but he could use some broadening horizons-wise where weapons are concerned. The radar thing's kind of cool - he can get a picture in his head by making sounds himself or because other people or things are making noise. He's really sensitive to smells and noises, too. Heightened senses in general, of course.

Not sure I'm the person to ask about the weapons. Only thing I know is swords. That stuff should come after he learns how to use his body to do the fightin' first anyway.

Yeah, I saw that sonar and boxing stuff first hand. Heh, sorta on the opposite end of one of those that complain too much. I'll keep an eye out for the pain stuff. You guys havin' any luck on reducin' the telegraphin' 'cause we really should be workin' on that.

And yeah, I seem to remember you were one of 'em, badger face.
