Yes. Also on Saturday is when they are showing my mother's lastest clothing line. Crissy [her partner] asked if I could make a 'special' appearance, it slipped my mind cause of high school stuff. She just texted me asking if I could which means I need to meet up with her on Friday night for the final try on whatever you call it. I never modeled for anything in my life...

Nice story. I especially enjoyed the part where you said you need to meet up and do the final try on, almost as if you decided you were doing this without asking me or your uncle if it's okay. (I'm figuring you didn't ask your uncle because if you had he'd have gotten in touch with me to let me know...)

I don't have to do it. It was something she just asked and the whole emotion thing happened...and the rest you know. And I don't think she knows Uncle Mike.

But the idea of being used for fashion media attention for my mother's company is kind of scary...and a headache.

It wasn't her responsibility to ask your Uncle, though. It was your responsibility. I can certainly understand how it slipped your mind with everything that you've been going through, but if your uncle and I are going to take responsibility for you, I'd appreciate it if in future you trusted one of us enough to ask if you could do something like this (when you remember about it) rather than just telling me you're going to. It's not like I was going to say no or anything. And if your uncle said no I would have gone to bat for you if it's what you felt like doing.

Yeah, Chrissy Olafson is a bit of a famewhore. Pretty low to use the daughter of her former partner to boost her sales. Still, nothing to be scared of. I'm pretty much coming with you whether you want me to or not, so I'll make sure you don't have any trouble with anyone. And it'll be a nice tribute to your mom, and a way for you to have closure and all that shrink-speak.

You know her? I was kind of hoping you would come with me. I mean...if I fail this hard at emailing imagine me trying to do so in real life. And yea, I was thinking the same way. Plus Chrissy wants to buy my mother's portion of the company, I need help with that.

Okay, I'm printing this email out and saving it and I'm going to show it to you on your thirtieth birthday so you can have a good laugh about how melodramatic you were as a teenager. And I'm hiding all the sharp things in the suite from you for the next little while.

Don't worry about it. And don't break up with internet on my account. I can't handle the Air Supply and the crying.

Starlet, I know everyone in the business. A couple of them are actually speaking to me these days, too. But yes, I'm coming. And I have three other tickets so I'm sure your friends will come support you, too. Well, your uncle and I will sit down with her once the guardianship situation is settled and sort out the sale.

Since the company is technically your inheritance, I think it is a good idea for you to be there, yes. I can talk to you about what it's all about, how it's doing and what it all means for you once the guardianship is finalized and I have access to that information.

Did you mix the soda with Pop Rocks again?
