I'm done at Monkton, thank fuck. Posted AWOL, as per the cover.
So you want to tell me what the score is here? Got a call from some geezer name of Jardine saying you'd been shot up in Uganda, but he wouldn't tell me anything else. I thought we weren't due to be running ops yet, and the brief I got had you with a cover at a school for fuck ups and freaks in New York, so you want to explain what I've missed?
I'm due to meet D-Ops later tonight to stort out how we're going to pass intel about - I'll let you know more later. He's also supposed to have come up with a few sets of papers for both of us to use as covers, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Date: 2004-06-22 01:45 pm (UTC)Stick whatever D-Ops comes up with in the way of covers to one side - they'll be fairly fucking flimsy things, and British Intel will be able to pick 'em up when they move about which might get a bit ropey, but they'll do when we're running a job, anyway. Have you got solid covers of your own? If not, I'll sort you out with a couple for day-to-day use. You fluent in anything interesting?
