The two are having a fairly heated email conversation. She's angry with Scott for what happened to you. I think it may just be her being overly worked up and needing someone to take it out on. Either way, though...I thought you should know.

Oh is she now. Thank you for telling me. I will deal with this.
How are you doing by the way?

And I will help distract Scott on this end. If we keep them separated for a few days perhaps this will blow over. One could hope, anyway.
The headaches are starting to subside when Scott opens the door to leave and come in so that's progress. Sorry for not coming by for obvious reasons. I was about to ask you the same question.

She hasn't had a decent night's sleep since I got back. I think she just found the most convenient target. I'm going to confiscate her devices as soon as I find some pants.
Glad to hear you're getting better. Don't worry about it. I'm told my presence is pretty painful even to someone whose shields aren't fried, so I emailed the psi-girls earlier warning them to steer clear for a while.

I'm not terribly surprised. I had my suspicions. I don't want to setback your own recovery, however, so if it becomes too much of a problem let me know.
My astral armor was immolated along with the demonologist so I'm not looking forward to rebuilding that from scratch. I'll keep my distance for now but expect a bottle of wine and a bucket of chicken wings once the both of us are finished licking our wounds.
Psi-girls? Sounds like a band. :)

It's not a problem. I just hate that she's getting caught in the backlash here. My brain aches, and I can't tell if that's why my mood's so erratic or if it's because Jack was the next level down and I'm getting bleed.
Wine would be great. Though I'm good for food. Lorna's been on the case, as usual.
Yeah, I wish I could think of a better term for them. I guess Maddie might be cool with it, but I can't really see Topaz getting on board. Hope would probably just be confused.

She's worried. It was a close call. I suppose expressing her worry via email does show some amount of restraint. She could've went to see him in person. So it's not entirely just you but I imagine it has some bearing.
Not surprised. I haven't spoken to her lately. I guess she's been busy. Any type preference on the wine or shall I go with the usual?
Sorry, I'm coming up short myself. Not much much help here.

No, I screwed up. I should have just distracted her, not gone after her about it directly. It wasn't my business. Some days I should just keep my mouth shut.
Whatever works for you, I'm not good with that sort of thing. And yeah, Lorna's definitely had some stuff on her mind lately.
We probably shouldn't give them a formal name anyway. It'd just give them power.

Does she want to kill you now too?
Are you implying that I am? Do I want to know?
That would be truly frightening.

Yes. She just got really polite on me. And now I want to kill me, too.
Better than me. My criteria is "it comes in a bottle."
I don't know if you want to know, but if Lorna wants you to I'm sure she'll get to it in time.

Scott left. Not sure where he went. Probably for a drive. As long as Betsy stays in the mansion I think we're okay. I'm sorry everything blew up like that.
That is an apt description. :) I'll pick something appropriate.
I understand.
My headache has returned so I think I'm going to turn in. I'll be turning off the laptop so text me if you need anything.

Not your fault. It's not like this is the first time my foot-in-mouth has gone up against her weaponized Britishness.
I think we all need some sleep right now. Night.

You were trying to help diffuse the situation. Granted, weaponized Britishness has laid waste to many a man over time. It was a good try, though.
Goodnight. :)
