Alright, we haven't been able to pick up a hint of Betsy since she disappeared. She hasn't hit any of our communication systems, check-in points, and there's been a lack of catatonic Jane Does with purple hair turning up in the media so far. Someone tell me that Cerebro has been able to pick her up? Otherwise, I'm running out of options...

(1/2) I'm sorry, I forgot to call you guys back. Things got insanely hectic in the confusion and I thought someone else would've said something by now. Betsy showed back up on the radar at the mansion in mine and Scott's closet shortly after you called.

(2/2) I have her in the medlab now but she's still unconscious. She's been in and out for the past few days. She's out of the woods but I believe she's developed a secondary mutation: teleportation. The teleportation seems to nullify her telepathy and being sensed by other psis. That's why we couldn't sense her. I've been trying to do research and take care of her for the past two days. I'll keep you updated.

She's just 'developed' a secondary mutation? A year after being worked over by Essex? Something doesn't sound right here.

I am exploring that as possibility but we're not ruling anything out. Spontaneous secondary mutations are rare but they aren't unheard of. It has happened. But, like I said, I'm exploring all possibilities. I've got a few leads I'm following up on. I'll be running a few tests until we can get a better grasp of what's fully going on and why.

Shit. I'm sorry, we had a hectic 48 hours. Physically she's exhausted but okay. Resting now.

Jean says you two are already touching base re: the more unpleasant options for the change. We're trying to grab Paige to see if she can find any evidence one way or another. For now I'm going to be optimistic and not rule out the natural option. This happening after Genosha is too suspicious to take as a coincidence, but it's also possible the trauma of the experience shook loose something dormant. Need to interview Emma about her experience with her diamond form.
