Heya blondie,
Garrison says he doesn't want you to laugh at him if he asks so I'll ask. Can you ward our suites against a cat? Not the ones that are supposed to be here. This one's a demon stray that keeps getting in no matter what we do. It's evil. I think it's the reincarnated soul of some evil thing that wants to torment this place or Kane or I specifically. Help? Can you ward against it or flambee it or turn it into a frog so we can squash it or something?
Thanks,
A.

Do I look like a pest controller? No, don't answer that - Angie's been on my back about going shopping again as it is.
I can try, but cats... well, you'll laugh at me for this, but they sort of have their own magic. Not the casting spells sort, but there's definitely some sort of weird personal resistance to wards they have. Which is possibly why they were/are familiars.
And I won't do anything that'll hurt it. If it's driving you that crazy, I can try catching it and bringing it to Catseye for a talking to and possible rehoming, but no squashing. Or setting fire to it.

Consider me laughing. Although actually, that sort of makes sense, since this thing can defy any kind of locks, doors, windows, anything. And it's certainly not the strangest thing I've heard since coming here.
I think the catgirl talked to it already. Or tried to. No joy. Are you sure you can't even set a little fire to it?

No. Fire. Have you ever smelled burning cat fur? It reeks.
I'll see what I can do. I'll stop by after class with the magical mayhem trio tomorrow.

See, with the way that's written out it almost looks like you're saying yes to the fire. Because you're saying no, and then fire. It's like fire is your suggestion. And no, I can't say I've ever smelled burning cat fur. Because eew.
Thanks.
