I've got Miles and Artie in here, trying to settle them down, because Jamie can't run them ragged due to his cold. I was just wondering, since you generally look out for the younger kids, if there's anything I can do. Bedtime stories, staying up with them, late milk and cookie runs, etc. Say the word and I'm there. I want to help.

Sorry I'm taking so long to answer this, I've been confined to bed. I don't know if it was the shaking or the almost passing out that caused that rule to come into effect... It was a hard day before 6:30 already. I've obviously talked my way into getting my laptop for a little while. Just be there. Stories and goodies are good. Honestly, if they can't sleep, let them snuggle in the Commons with a movie. They'll probably zonk out in there.

No worries. You have to take care of yourself first, silly. Or...I hope he's taking care of you. I suspect from the 'confining' mention that he is. Let him. I've got the kids, and if Jamie keeps stubborning, I'll probably have help. I smell a Muppet marathon coming on. I'll probably go down and see if I can spell Angie, or at least make sure she gets some sleep too.

(Super secret: fastest way to get me out of a funk is for there to be people who need help. *wry chuckle*)

Yes, he is. It was non-negotiable.

I got some of the other staff to agree to make rounds of the dorms too, to keep an eye on things. Muppet marathon sounds good if they can't sleep. And yeah, I hear Remy's in some rough shape. Spelling Angie off is a good bet. I'd help if I could but there'd be a Scene of Proportions if I tried.

I haven't really slept since Sunday night except for when I feel asleep in Sarah's room on Tuesday and it's been hard to keep food down. But, don't say anything because I don't want Angelo to feel bad. Please. It's not his fault.

I certainly won't say anything to Angelo. He's guilting himself enough as it is. And I know it's not his fault. I worry about both of you. Him and his guilt complex almost as big as mine, and you with...everything.

And if it weren't nonnegotiable on his part, it certainly would be on mine. Put that laptop away and get some sleep. Nowish, preferably. The mansion will still be standing in the morning, and there will still likely be a lot to do to make sure everyone's okay. But like I said earlier, you have to take care of yourself first.

So do that. Don't make me mother-hen you. Because I will.

I'll be okay. Only. Grr ...you are not the only person in favour of the putting away of the laptop. And I'm not done catching up on all the posts. And...

Anyway. I have to say goodnight or my laptop will have a flying lesson.
