Happy birthday, Jamie. I'll tell you in person later, but for now I direct you to take a look in the music room...

Hiya boys!
Unfortunately, yours truly still isn't quite up to snuff for heavy training thanks to the big blue bouncing ball of big words (the one and only Hankster!) saying "NO!" despite all the pleading and twinkies I tried to bribe him with (I still say phooey!).
SO! I thought I'd offer you the newest team member in my place, my one and only roomie, Lorna! After all, she should train with the very best. And Hank needs a bouncing around madly partner. I'm sure she'll have a blast! :D
Whatcha think?

Droolage prevention. No drooling on the new drums. Or the music room floor. ;)
It's fun. We talk on the phone for hours. Miles talks to her too sometimes and she usually has him in stitches fairly quickly. I may ask her if she'd mind us dropping in at the farm for a weekend at one point, actually. I think Miles would like the experience.
Envelope? What envelope? *innocent*

The envelope she gave me when she dropped me off at the airport, that I gave you when I got back here? How long were you on the phone ratting me out, by the way?
Ask her. She'd love that--she asks about him all the time when I talk to her, and I think he would like seeing it. Tyke will probably adopt him. :)

Oh! That envelope! Oh, that was nothing for you to worry your head about. Mmm. Ratting you out? That took ten seconds. We talked a bit after that, though.
I think I will. And it'll be a nice change. Not like I can train much with my leg and all... may call her up tonight see when's good for her, actually.
Tyke?

Yeah, I'll just bet. I know both of you, you know.
I'm sure she'll love to see you. :)
Tyke's my dog--golden retriever, getting on in years but still pretty spry, and really not very fond of the idea of me spending all my time not there. :)
