Got an email from my favourite adopted big sister today, and I know everything, so the three of you can stop with the cloak and dagger act. I could get all cranky and demand to know why you didn't tell me and all, but it wouldn't do squat except make me feel like a spoiled brat. So I won't. I will say I'm hurt you didn't trust me, but I can't push it, and since you're convinced I need protecting I'll just take my delicate constitution off and work on me healing spells - not that those need work, with all the practice I get 'round here, but they're less work when I've had decent warning and time to get ready.

I'd like to go on record as saying that not telling you was Nathan's idea, so if you could kindly not jump down my throat about it... *shakes head* Sorry. Still getting rid of the migraine I worked myself into helping Nathan find her, so I've been a little snippy, not to mention having to deal with Dom's wounded pride...anyways, it wasn't about trusting you, okay?

Sorry to be snarky at you - I figured it was probably Nate's idea to keep me in the dark. I thought I ought to tell you I knew so you didn't keep avoiding me in the hallways - you really need to work on that guilty face you get, mate. *grins*

I'm not angry, just disappointed. But I figure I don't have the best track record when it comes to dealing with me nearest and dearest getting hurt (you'd think I'd had enough practice by now), so I should just suck it up, as Manny says.

And this is all not your problem, so I'll go deal with the source - there's another email in my inbox from the prime culprit.
