Got an email from my favourite adopted big sister today, and I know everything, so the three of you can stop with the cloak and dagger act. I could get all cranky and demand to know why you didn't tell me and all, but it wouldn't do squat except make me feel like a spoiled brat. So I won't. I will say I'm hurt you didn't trust me, but I can't push it, and since you're convinced I need protecting I'll just take my delicate constitution off and work on me healing spells - not that those need work, with all the practice I get 'round here, but they're less work when I've had decent warning and time to get ready.

You know, I wouldn't be so shirty about all this if all that stuff with the dreams and talking to you at the pool this morning hadn't happened. I was straight with you about Illyana and all, and it slipped your mind to mention what had happened to Dom? Okay, fine, probably not my business, but all I got from her was this chatty little email about how the protective charm I gave her helped save her arse and how she was going out partying with a couple of soldier blokes, so the next email I got from her was a bit of a shock, you know? I know I have a shitty track record when it comes to being trusted, but I'm trying, fuck it all, and I'm sick of people treating me like glass.

So you can take this as me being passive-aggressive if you like, and I'll just keep out of your face until you're less shitty with me. Since I'm such a brat and all.

As for Dom's little omissions, take it up with her. She did the exact same thing to Pete and I, except with more blatant lying. If Doug hadn't wanted to know about that golf story, you and I could have been in the dark together.
