I hope you don't mind me asking you this, but Doug mentioned you might be able to help me. After my experiences in Ksavia last year, I have been thinking about wanting to learn certain skills which might help me if something like that ever happens again... like dealing with a locked door for example...

When you say 'dealing with a locked door,' are you talking about taking it off its hinges or picking the lock? I can teach you either/or but they're labor intensive in different ways. Outline for me what exactly you want to know.

I think picking a lock would be more my speed then taking a door of its hinges. So that would be good to learn I think. Also, maybe knowing how to get a car started without having it's keys would be good as well. I will be learning to drive this summer...

I think this makes a start. I am not sure what else would be most useful...

So lockpicking, hotwiring, and maybe some other stuff, if it becomes apparent those skills would be useful. I can work with that. Analyzing security systems on the fly might be good, though Doug - or some other tech person - is usually on top of that. How comfortable are you with things like sedatives?

Using Valium on the people who kept up the psychic shield around where I was being held is how I finally managed to contact the Professor. I rather learn how to do it properly next time then go by half remembered stories of how much my mothers friends were using...
