Re: Time Off
Hey Adrienne,
I am asking for at least two weeks off. I am driving cross-country back to California with Alex so we can empty out our apartment. (it hasn't seen another person since the beginning of the year and I am dreading of what we will find). My contacts say Brotherhood have cleared the area but where they are, I am not sure. Most likely they are on the move. If you like me to check in on our other safehouses for the railroad let me know. I can make some stops for that.
Thanks,
Lor

At least?
Does Alex know what we do?

Re: Time Off
Yes. I am hoping we don't take the entire time. A few days to drive there, few days there and a few days to drive back.
I mentioned it to him. I am bring him to "bring Alex to work day". You might get lucky and put him to work.
Better than having Clint Barton shooting arrows at him. Apparently this may or may not have happened.

Re: Time Off
I understand the unfortunate situation you're in with your house, but this is quite inconvenient, particularly since you just came off administrative leave, and the way you're approaching me about it is very irresponsible, to be honest with you. And that's not even taking into account the fact that you're bringing your boytoy for tours of our office as if it's a zoo or museum.
Please enjoy your trip and take as long as you need. When you return we can discuss whether or not you're actually serious about working for me.

Re: Time Off
I understand. I really don't know how to approach anyone with anything anymore. I am trying my best. I thought it would be fun. I like working for you and I like what we do. I like helping people. If you feel like it is way too unprofessional, I will not bring him in.
I will take no more than two weeks. And I look forward to the conversation. I promise this will be the last thing I will spring on you, especially when it comes to my private affairs. In the meantime, I will finish the case files I have on my desk by the end of the tomorrow.

Re: Time Off
Apologies. Kane was cadjoling me about the Jays beating the Sox here at Fenway and after Jess's display of irresponsibility on the weekend my fuse is rather short when it comes to XFI. Now the Sox have tied it up so I'm in a better place mentally since Kane has been silenced.
It's fine if you want to take him on a tour if you think he'd be interested in what we do.
I can work with no more than two weeks. But consider it your vacation time for the rest of the year. Which means you'll be working CHristmas to make this up to me.

Re: Time Off
Do not worry. It is understandable. I would be upset if my team was beaten by my boyfriend's team or having someone that works with you display what they displayed on the journals. I am glad that that the Sox have come back. However, I will make sure to leave a bottle of wine in your drawer just in case.
He seemed interested. We have similar interest. He might seem like the typical California surfer guy, but he takes stuff seriously. Especially stuff like what we do.
I am okay with working up for lost time.
