You know stuff about kids, right? Could you have a voodoo conversation or whatever it is you do with them so that Maya's less 'rawr everyone sucks, must disobey every rule ever invented' and more like, I dunno. Not that?

My time has admittedly been limited lately, but I can try. I did notice a few posts on the journals in the last few weeks. Is there anything in particular that's worrying you besides general misconduct?

I don't know if snooping counts as B&E, but she definitely picked the lock in my suite to my room and got into some stuff she shouldn't have. Nearly skewered Marie-Ange with a knife she threw. I think that was her powers, though.
Pretty sure she's got some PTSD going on just based on the convo I had with her dad. Somebody's put a hit out on him, tried to blow him up. Maya was in the car when Willie realized what was going on, so he pushed her out while the car was still moving, then jumped out himself afterward.
Generally being uprooted from everything she's familiar with?

All right. I can see how watching your father narrowly avoid death might make you a little belligerent. The breaking and entering sounds more like a general lack of respect for personal boundaries, though. What would her powers have to do with a knife?

We don't actually know what her powers are yet, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's instinctive and physical rather than something like telepathy. She nearly stabbed me in the throat the first time we met, but I startled her. I think Marie-Ange startled her, too.
The dad swears he hasn't taught her how to knife fight or throw knives, so I'm guessing it's powers related.

Interesting. Reflex-related, maybe? On the other hand, if she has PTSD I'd expect hyper vigilance.
I can talk to her. Whether she'll talk to me is up for debate, but I can extend the offer.
