(2/3) That's what I'm afraid of. I've already done so much with my powers that I've never had to do before. Messed with people's minds. I don't like it. I don't want to get to the point where I think it's okay. I see the others, like Scott, and they're just numb to it, doing what they feel like they have to do.
(3/3) You shouldn't have to watch me. You should be having fun.

[2/6] People deal with it in different ways.
[3/6]Some become numb, others try to improve responses so that you won't need to be numb.
[4/6]Others like myself simply avoid operational work unless really needed.
[5/6] It takes time to find out where you fit and what works best for you however.
[6/6] That's fine. Although it wouldn't be a burden.

(1/2)Haller says...the X-men need people like me, but I don't want to become numb, like them. I see it and I want to help them, because I'm afraid they'll do something they'll regret. I know it's not my place, and I'm trying so hard not to overstep my bounds like before, with Clarice.

[1/3] They really do. The X-men are only as good as the sum of their parts, and that includes all sorts of people.
[2/3] Being numb is not a good coping mechanism, and frankly it's a good way to get yourself killed.
[3/3] About 6:30pm. Enough time to have had dinner and be done with work.

(1/ ) I think overworking seems to be a common problem. I do the same thing. It's just the other stuff that bothers me. Hopefully it'll work itself out.
